Terror in Mumbai

My heart is heavy... words fail me... the death and destruction, the mayhem and the madness.... the lives lost... the innocent falling prey to random chaos.... Let's please for once be together united and take a stand and make a difference.... Lets do something please.... We have to retaliate... we have to make our voices heard.... gone are the days of taking atrocities lying down....we forget so easily and lapse into a state of ease.... it's always someone else who is affected so we don't bother.... Will it take one of our own family or a friend's life for us to wake up to the reality of the horror of terrorism.... Why do we expect the authorities to be accountable and take action. We as citizens of this country have to take responsibility of our own actions and stop the bloodshed. Maybe its not one of our own... but the way this attack was worked on and the precision with which it was executed.... it won't be long before these attacks reach our doorstep... how long do we turn a blind eye... how long till things don't change.... we have to affect this change our selves... we have to decide to take action now.... Come on lets do it.... let the emotins of insecurity, fear and intense sadness be channeled and changed to that of action and retaliation against these terror attacks and bomb blast.... Its time for a movement among the people....I am a Mumbaikar and the tragedy has hurt me... I have no solutions and I don't know the logistics... But I know that together we can do something....Even if we stand strong and form a forum... give a voice to all our opinions maybe we can make a change....
